Ottavio
Ottavio built the Marachiei farm through years of hard work and sacrifice, realising a personal dream with his own strength and minimal help. He describes himself as gruff, admitting he lacks diplomacy and patience when fighting the same battles over and over. Yet those who know him know that beneath that rough exterior lies a big heart

Eva
Eva is always in the saddle, in the dairy or cleaning — always moving. She inherited a deep love of nature from her father through time spent at Osco and on the alpine pasture. Her grandparents, both teachers, disappointed by her choice of agriculture, suggested the Bauerinnenschule. Eva's answer was clear: she attended the Plantahof agricultural school with her mother's support and today works daily with the horses and in cheese production

Mattia
Mattia officially joined the team in January 2015 after six seasons making hay with Ottavio — having along the way won the heart of the boss's daughter. Not from a farming background, his passion for tractors and forestry was sparked during childhood holidays at his grandfather's farm in Osco. He went on to train at the agricultural school in Mezzana.

Pietro & Francesco
Pietro Dozio and Francesco Marchesi are training as farmers at the farm, bringing new ideas, freshness and joy to daily life. The farm is grateful for their choice and their dedicated engagement with agriculture. We wish them willpower to accept different perspectives, fighting spirit to overcome the exhaustion of farm work, and energy to achieve their goals.

For the alpine season Pietro Fistolera is the shepherd — he brings enthusiasm and a deep passion for animals. Alongside him is Eva Mazzucchini, the legendary cheesemaker and longtime friend. Together they promise a summer where hard work and wonderful shared moments come together into something truly special.
